Every Maia Kaja jewelry piece is meticulously designed and handcrafted by Zeynep Malaz, the brand’s founder and designer, in collaboration with skilled artisans from Istanbul’s historic Grand Bazaar. Drawing inspiration from everything around her—art movements, patterns, nature, colors, and textures—Zeynep creates pieces that engage all five senses, making each design feel truly alive.
Each piece is crafted using the ancient lost wax casting technique, which lends the jewelry a sense of history and authenticity.
This spesific piece draw its inspiration from the time our designer spent time in the bay during most of her chilhood. It's texture is inspired by the treasures she discovered on the beach.

Maia Kaja’nın her takısı, markanın kurucusu ve tasarımcısı Zeynep Malaz tarafından, İstanbul’un tarihi Kapalıçarşı’sındaki usta zanaatkârlarla birlikte özenle tasarlanıp elde üretiliyor. Sanat akımlarından doğaya, desenlerden dokulara kadar beş duyuyla hissedilebilen her şeyden ilham alan Zeynep, her tasarımına canlı bir ruh katıyor.
Kayıp mum döküm tekniği ile üretilen bu özel parçalar, hem tarihi bir dokunuş taşıyor hem de seçkin değerli taşlar ile zamansız bir zarafet sunuyor.
Bu spesifik parça tasarımcımızın çocukluğunda kumsalda geçirdiği zamanlara göz kırpıyor. 'Shore' bileklik, o dönemde kumsalda keşfettiği ve zihninde kalan ganimetlerin dokularından esinlenerek seneler sonra mumda tekrardan el ile şekillendirildi.
